Explanation

The boiling point of water on the Fahrenheit scale is 212°F (100°C). This is the temperature at which water changes from a liquid to a gas (vapor) at standard atmospheric pressure (1 atm). 

At this temperature, the vapor pressure of water is equal to the surrounding atmospheric pressure, and as a result, the liquid water will begin to boil and turn into steam.
